How big of a deal is AP1 oil consumption?

Im running the VTSC a and a catch can looped from the PCV to Intake manifold. I only consume a Qt. or less every 2.5k miles. It is an 2001 AP1 with appx. 75k on the motor. So the problem really isnt that bad.

So...
When looking at one I am considering to buy what do I want to see for compression numbers and other things to know it's going to be a good one that won't give me problems?

You want EVEN compression numbers, within 10psi. Don't go by absolute numbers as they will vary depending on the equipment used as well as other factors.

Also what are ideal compression numbers, I would think if they were lower that means the car is down on power too?
