[QUOTE=Eugeneo,Jul 1 2006, 09:05 AM] It always seems like my lights are adjusted too high.

I thought that over here in Europe cars with HID's should have automatic height adjustment on HID's Anybody knows if European S2000's have them? Thx!

i dont even post 3 times a day usually. i commonly post "i think this is the way" but i guess i was in a rush. sorry for the incorrect information. it would seem like if you could get the the assembly (which is easily accessed threw the liner) and loosen it you could adjust it to the desired spot and tighten it back down.

I am also not sure if my headlight is aimed correctly. They seem very low in which I have to use my high beam more frequent than when I am drivign my BMW.

Anyway, I noticed that if I look at the wall beside me...with the BMW, the beam is slightly going up...meaning it is a line that is angled going up the farther it is. With the S2000, it is going down...meanging the highest point in the light is when it comes form the car...and then it slopes down the farther it is form the car.

Is this normal?

Who's to say but your BMW manual? You can't compare one kind of car with another kind's headlight aiming. Are the two headlights at the same height? Are the projector lenses of the same curvature? Are they designed to cast a different beam? Maybe your BMW is "off"? Maybe it's normal for it to do that.

As per the S2000 manual:

Park the car on level ground, 25 feet away from the vertical wall. Measure the exact height of the center of the headlight lens. Go to the wall and use that measurement. The lights should reflect 52mm (2.1") BELOW the headlight height. So yes, the S2000 beam should be going "down".

Rotate the white adjustment knob counterclockwise to raise the headlight beams, clockwise rotation will lower them.
