Default Hot water temps at HPDE, need advise

Hello everyone, today was my first day tracking my car and after three to four laps in this 90 degree weather in miami the water temp gauge had three sticks over half way reading. I stopped the car and let it cool down, since i've never tracked the s2000 i dont know what normal temps are for road course racing. I bought the car with an aluminum radiation and two thin electrical fans. The coolant level and all seems to be fine but im a little worried about this since the AC condenser seems to sit right in front of the radiator covering almost 70% to 80% of its cooling area. I wanted to see if i could get some advice on what to do, should i flush the radiator with new coolant, just to make sure? Any other suggestions, could it be that the radiator i got the car was is a cheap one? What level of coolant should the reservoir read? Thanks for any assistance you could provide me with.

I have read that the aftermarket fans are not as efficient as stock in most cases. Is there any markings on the radiator? I would think that if it was a Koyo or Mishimoto or some other company it would be labeled somewhere. If not are you able to ask the previous owner? Do you know the water/coolant mix? I run 80/20 with a bottle of water wetter and a lower temp fan switch and have never seen my car get that hot.

BTW, I am assuming this was at the HOD event today. You going to the one there on the 7/22?

most likely I'll be attending the July. I'll check on the fan switch and thermostat, probably get cooler ones if no already installed then clean and flush the radiator fluids. I haven't done a flush in a million years so how exactly would you get the mixture, do you prep it in a separate container? thanks!

No problem. Definitely, I am going to sign up next week or the week after for intermediate.

same here, don't want to run with the advance group as those cars are already in a league of their own lol. I ran b group which is intermediate this time and was able to compete with a few cars.
