The FPR is on the fuel rail which is located above the intake manifold close to the valve cover. Look in that area and you will find it.

If it's not the FPR what do you think it might be?

I think it's worth just checking the FPR. Based on the description of the symptoms you gave i would say that it is a 90% chance the diaprhagm is bad.

I found the part, can I check it by just putting as rag undreneath the hose, to see if gas is being poured out? Or is this a 2 man job?

Dude....I already told you... pull off the small 1/8" vent line....start the car (or at least try to) if gas is squirting out of the top of the FPR, it's bad.... one person, you can put a rag there if you'd like to catch any gas that does come out if it is bad....but cranking it once or twice will tell you whether it's good or bad.

I understood all that, and I really do appreciate the help!

I was just wondering if I could try and do this on my own, or needed a friend to come by to watch the hose is all...

Try it yourself, just see if the gas squirted out or not.

When you put your keys in and twist, but before you press start, can you hear the fuel pump engage/prime? Like a little bzzzzt?

I'm pretty sure I can, but will double check when I go out for lunch in about an hour or so...
