Default Hose question - Intake to Engine

Hey guys. I installed my K&N FIPK intake successfully this past sunday.

Question: I used the k&n hose, one end connected to the air intake and the other end connected to the engine. They never said to use clamps to tighten them down or anything.

Should I use clamps to tighten each end of the hose?

Thanks

I had the same problem. I used one of the clamps from the stock box and put that on the intake end. I didn't clamp the hose at the valve cover, and it hasn't moved at all after a few thousand miles.
