Horrible Idle

Horrible Idle
I did a headgasket replacement on my 04. I had a problem with it starting afterwards and it turned out the timing was off a little. After adjusting the timing the car now starts but now the car will not idle. I have to start it with the gas and hold down the throttle just to keep the car running. It sounds like a horrible misfire, after it hits about 3000rpm it seems to smoothin out. When coming to a stop I have to hold down the gas to keep the car from dying. I know its getting fuel because the cylinders seem to be flooded. I took a look at the sparkplugs 3 of the 4 were a little wet with fuel and only 2 seem to be firing because the tips were black.
The coil connectors are getting voltage and ground. I am starting with the plugs and working my way up. I might possibly have to get new coil which I hoping I dont have to.
The car was running fine other than needing a headgasket replacement before.
All suggestions welcome.
THANKS!!!

The timing is 100% because the way our cars are if the timing is off by 1 tooth on either cam the car will not start at all. This is because the timing is computerized.
I did do a compression test and all cylinders are strong.
