Horrible gas mileage.
I've got an '03 with about 88K miles on it. I usually get about 240/250 miles to the tank.. The other day I filled up and only got about 80 miles to a half tank of gas.. I just recently changed the plugs and the coil packs, so I don't think either of those are the culprit.. I just put some 17's (TSWs) on with some Nitto NT01.. I know they're a competition tire and I daily them.. But could that really impact my MPG this drastically?
Any input would be awesome..
Thanks.

You can't really judge fuel mileage based on the gauge. I found that if I am going slow in traffic my gauge will sometimes go up one bar and then when I get out into the open again it drops back down.

I have an AP1, but the first half when the tank is full goes a lot quicker than the last half. Overall, i'll get 375-400kms on a tank and the first half of the gauge will be "consumed" after 150kms. Also, recently, I had 3 bars left on the gauge when starting the car. I rode for a good 30kms, still 3 bars but when i got on the highway it went up to 4 bars... Like others posted, post real numbers, not how the gauge acts. Full the car, ride it for 100kms and see how many liters you put back in.

Why are people using the gauge for mpg concerns? This makes me want to do this
miles and gallons to fill up, 3 cycles of this, with a minimum of 200 miles per fill to get ANYWHERE near determining if you have a problem.
