hood dimensions?
hey i don't have my s2000 stored at my house, and I'm planning on purchasing new hood from a fellow member. It involves me driving 10+hrs each way, and want to know if you think it fill fit in the back of an '08 honda CRV with the seats folded down?

20 hours of driving to pick up a hood? Why not just get one shipped? They seem to sell for around 100 plus shipping and shipping will be a good bit less than 20 hours of driving.

well unfortunately seller doesn't want to ship, and its a very nice and expensive hood, so i don't mind driving if I have to.
I do not want to put on the roof, thats why I'm wondering if i can fit it inside the CRV

I would go with no. I thought it would fit in my pacifica, and it doesn't. the back part where it meets the windshield is very wide and prob wont fit through the opening for the back door. the pacifica is bigger then the crv but it might work. best bet is to rent an 150 or somthing for a day from your local rental car palce. plus that way it doesn't put miles on your car....

The hood fit perfectly in an 05 CRV when I picked it up. I dont know how much smaller/larger an 08 CRV is compared to an 05. From the outside, the 08 looks smaller.
Edit. It will fit. I dont think the 08 CRV is that much smaller than an 05. The hood laid flat in the rear of an 05 CRV w/ room to spare. Worst case scenario, you can fit the hood on an angle.
