I must be a great shifter.

Hey since you guys all did the Hondata IMG I am wondering. Mine is sitting here right next to my computer. I can install it tomorrow, but I have been thinking about blocking the coolant into the manifold. Maybe modifying the gasket somehow? IDK, but is it worth it? Or does the manifold stay cold with just the gasket? I don't want warm when its cold out, I want cold. I'm thinking maybe a peice of ABS plastic siliconed and superglued in the hole would work quite well. Is there any reason why not to do this? Thanks, I'm just looking to gain max hp .

I have been doing some reading as well. The gasket DOES block coolant to the TB right? If so, I can take my ball bearing out of the lines then?
check it. pull your alternator all the way out when you do the hondata gasket. then you can access all the bolts youll need to take the mani off the car. now you can easily set the gasket on there, and make sure the ports are lined up. (most recent one i did, they were shit. not lined up at all, i did extensive port work to line them up. also, while your there (important part)
follow the cooling circuit that hondata gasket blocks off at the head. it goes through the TB, and IAC, well it goes back home at the T stat housing. there, pull that hose off, get a 3/8 bolt. cut off the head and threads, polish the ends so it makes a little bullet. now lube it and stuff it in the end of the hose about an inch. put a hose clamp on the outside of the hose to combat expansion. plug it back on. now you have successfully blocked any coolant from ever going to the intake area ever again. youll see a silly ass gain from this gasket, i promise.

check cred...

Kayvan - how much credibility have you built for yourself on this forum?

Dave knows his shit.

And M roadsters did not run S54s until 2002. Until then they had S52s, and we dont know which model year he ran against. The S52 will run just as we do... Stage 3 will take us of course. Dave's not stock... I'm guessing he ran an S52 M Roadster, which is far from 12s. Thank you come again.

Nope, I said they wouldn't fit right without 4x4 height and aggressive camber!

I am about to close this thread because nothing positive is happening. The arguing is ridiculous.

Your car must be more of a freak than Dave's than... Funny how nobody else in the last 6 years has been able to run those offsets. But you can while being dropped, with the right tire sizes, a fair alignment, all without rubbing when pushing the car to its limits. More power to ya!
