I had the Hondata gasket installed today (thanks Marucci
) and just wanted to give my impressions. First a little backround....
HOT texas day (90H/83 current) with driving in no, moderate and heavy traffic.

This is one of the THE best mods. I didn't experience the heat bog, even in heavy traffic (I35 at 530pm). The throttle response was brisk even after sitting in stop and go traffic. I drove under these same conditions the previous day (weather was the same) and experienced the typical hesitation associated with heat bog. Overall, once of the best mods I have done.... immediate gratification.

Thanks again to Marucci, who took the day off to install this (I detoured my trip home so I could have this done).

Insulates the intake manifold from the heat soak of the engine so preserves the "good" maps longer.

The stock ecu cuts timing big time when the engine gets the least little bit warm

Actually, I really wanted it for the drive home, since I am driving 24+hrs straight. Also, I watched Todd and he gave me some pointers on the pitfalls of the installation.
It took about 4hrs.
