hmm running no cat-back at all?
Not long ago I installed a JIC Magic cat-back exhaust and after a couple weeks the resonator went bad and it's rattling insanely on the interior of it. I'm gonna have to ship it back to them to get it fixed under warranty.
but my problem is that I don't have my stock exhaust anymore.. so putting aside the legalities and exhaust noise, is there anything wrong or hazardous with running no cat-back at all for a couple weeks?
Would the exhaust create any kind of nasty black crap under my car since it's already doing it on my back bumper a bit?

aside from the noise you will most likely be filled with exhaust gases in the cabin. I don't know how close the gases will be to the fuel tank, but there may be risk there also.

Ran mine off, I didn't smell anything but it was only for a day.
I wouldn't mind doing it again if it was more quiet.
With it off, I think it sounds louder at 2k then it does with the exhaust on at 9k.
At 9k without a catback you are looking for cops because you are sure as hell people in China can hear it.

Well I don't exactly have a lot of options here, and I live in Arkansas, so sound problems with cops might not be too much of an issue, especially if it's only temporary. But if the fumes thing is really hazardous like HvRRZ stated, I don't think I can risk it.
Either I send the product in and run no exhaust and risk the fumes or whatever, or I can look around for a stock exhaust even though I'd really not like to spend money on something I'd put on for a couple weeks..
