Default HKS oil filter

I'm just wondering if anyone is running them or knows anything about them. http://www.hksusa.com/products/more.asp?id=3826

I thought HKS is closing up shop in North America.

If the Honda pcx oil filter provides all of the flow that the engine needs I don't see the benefit of what HKS is selling at more than twice the price ?. It looks pretty.

Have not used the HKS.My 03S likes either the Amsoil EA15K20 or the Wix 51334.Both have excellent flow & filtration.I've cut both open and they are contructed very well.Amsoil is syn fiber & Wix is paper.

I like larger filters but I've seen these filters on other cars. If I'm reading their site right the filter for the "S" is 68mm X 65mm and that's a very small filter. The filter I use on my "S" is 94mm X 137mm so more oil goes through the filter and less through the by-pass.
