the exhaust note will change a little over time, but probably not enough to make you happy. Generally, exhausts get a little louder and a little more raspy. test pipe will probably make the pitch a little higher.. and louder over all.

I have had the HKS for a year now. I think the sound is just right. Not too loud...not too soft. I do also notice that that sound seems to be louder after the exhaust has had a chance to heat up.

I just checked out the prices and new test pipes with O2's are not expensive at all. I have decided not to go that route...but I'm happy to know it's not an expensive mod if I ever want to do it, now that I've spent $750 on exhaust.
