I would think it would be about $800-$900.

Had my rear bumper and quotes were between 800-1000 to replace. I kept the money and got a used one for $180 shipped painted.
I would shop around. Probably worth it to not go through insurance and raise your rates up since you have to pay $500 anyways.

I just had my bumper replaced by a shop through insurance (hit a damn rabbit and broke my bumper in half, broke my grill, A/C condensor, and radiator). I asked if they could replace it with a newer front bumper that will still bolt right on, showed them the little trimming to the crash bar and they said no problem. So I paid my $500 deductable, and got a whole new ap2 front end painted/installed, and on top they shaved my bumper plugs for free. I did have to buy a few things like the tow cap cover since the ap1 and ap2 ones are different.

If I remember right these were the prices:

-Front bumper alone: $335
-Grill: $45
-Front lip (I paid for my own since I didn't have my lip on when damaged) but for OEM say around :$400
-Paint/Install: $550-600

So that is definetly way over your $500 deductible, just have it fixed through insurance and have it done right, and upgrade at the same time.

You're probably better off getting a used bumper that is already BB. You may even end up with an AP2 bumper, but as suzuka-blue-s2k mentioned, you will need to cut the top corners of the crash bar. They press into the bumper and crack the paint. The person who owned my car before me had an AP2 bumper installed without trimming the bar. If it weren't for the clearbra he had installed, the paint would be flaking off all over the place.

Sometimes your insurance will send the check to the body shop that is going to do the work, they don't always send it to the person so that may not work out. Also yes you may be able to find a BB front bumper, but it definetly won't be in perfect condition unless you pay a heafty price for it. Also front lips are pretty expensive also. I still think it would be best to just pay the $500 deductable and get a brand spankin new bumper and lip, and brand new fresh paint. You will never find a perfect bumper a lip with new paint for that price.
