As far as quality of work goes, I have complete faith in the body shop, Marco's for those of you in So. Cal. I guess my original question should have been more specific about what type of damage may have occured to the bushings, shocks, etc. that a general body shop who doesnt have specific expertise in S2000s might miss. I am just hoping to not have to deal with going back for something that they didnt know to look for.

Hit a cinderblock on the freeway, What do I look for?
It actually wasnt a cinderblock, it was the block of concrete that holds a sign in the ground

If I were you, I'd look out for cinderblocks and concrete blocks.

any pics of the damage? Maybe it won't be as bad as you fear once the body shop does a once over.
It's always hit or miss with road debris. I ran over what looked like a boat anchor (seriously) back in the day in my Civic and it just dented my muffler. Nothing else. Also ran over a ladder in the middle of the night in my wife's old M3. Just a scratched up lip.
Hope everything turns out ok!

It bounced off the front lip and made a 4x1inch gash on the passanger side door skin. I'm just glad the pipe didnt bounced off the road and come flying toward the front windshield (me). It happends

i bought a brand new sportbike, a 1000RR (not my first bike) and as i was going down the freeway (680S before 101S), an old pickup truck passed by me. he then cut in front of me going approx 10-15 mph faster. he was about 1 1/2 bus lengths away when his entire rear bed plastic lining cracked in half and split into the air heading straight for me. the piece hit the ground and sheared into two pieces that bounced back up into the air. i crouched as much as i could and hit my gas at the perfect time to split the two pieces. it was un****ingbelieveable, it was the first day riding the bike. i was looking around for movie cameras to see if i was on some candid stunt show.
i would definately be worried about the invisible damage the cinder block may have caused, like someone said earlier it might be better for multiple shops to check it out, or like you said leave the claim open until you are sure that there is no further damage.
