There was once a post from Craigslist of a fs S with near 400k miles. A little rough around the edges, but still in good shape overall.

Perhaps the most remarkable thing about these cars is although they bested virtually all others in power/liter in their day, they're still as reliable as any other Honda.

Try that with a Ferrari...
Aw hell yeah! the S is BEST <3

That's excellent!

I'm curious how you car looks after almost 400k miles. Could you maybe provide us with pics? Engine bay, exterior, interior?
Nah I think that claim is false. My 2000 model AP1 still has its original TCT and it's quiet. I'm on 136500 miles.

Of course as these cars get older, it gets more and more likely that a gauge cluster might have migrated to a different chassis and thus racked up miles "unfairly"... But this car looks exactly like you'd expect an all-highway s2k to look (bone stock, well-used but decently maintained):

The damage is an easy fix. She still looks solid.

I currently have 415,753 miles on my '03. Unfortunately I have some health issues so I'm not racking up the miles any more. But it still runs great.

Sorry to hear about your health issues. Any performance mods done to your S2K?

he mentioned no engine work in an earlier post. he has an oil bypass setup.

his 400K engine probably is like a 100K engine.

Oh cool. I was aware of his oil bypass setup. Quite clever.

This is what my 232k Engine looks like. They stay pretty clean , like any Honda with the right OCI and a good oil.
