"high" pitched vibration noise when warming up
hey guys,
i recently go my new custom exhaust welded on (oem s2000 b pipe w/ oem resonator, welded to a mandrel bent pipe, welded to a single muffler, the exhaust system has about 3 hangers total and has very very little movement).
in the morning, when i first start the s, i usually wait about 2 minutes before i drive off to warm her up. i noticed that there is a "high" pitched vibration that will come on for about 4 seconds then stops. also, SOMETIMES i could hear the vibration when i have been driving for a while, then i'm slowly driving through a parking lot (with the windows rolled down) and i could hear the same sound also.
i went back to the muffler shop today to see if they could find any loose nuts or bolts under the car, but they found nothing. what could it be? i believe the sound is coming from the "front" area of the exhaust system, kind of around the header, cat area. (btw, i have a berk high flow cat as well) any help is appreciated..thanks guys

hey guys, i found the problem...it was actually my aluminum engine heatshield, similar to the carbon fiber one that ztec used to sell...it was loose so all i had to do was tighten it and everything is okay now
