Nice to have the number but its almost kida pointless and a waste of money as far as usable power.

Isn't this the same car that was recently up for sale on eBay?

First, it's a 5.7-liter , and second that other S2000 is boosted to . Mine is a heads/cam bolt-on with spray. I pass emissions, get 15+ mph (when I try), and am as reliable as any other LS6.

Oh, and BTW, I'm more impressed by a 500ci engine making 8000hp than I am a 120ci engine making... Wait, scratch that. No 120ci engine makes 8000hp.

I think you miss the point,

"We feature the fastest of the platform that are all fully street legal."

Spray isn't street legal.

For the cover issue I agree with Hobbyholic & blues2k3

waste of money?? Lets see what next year has to bring. Now that we know what to do with the motor and turbo, it will get even better once we overcome the driveshaft, diff, and axles.

Kumar, there were always doubter as yourself for the import racing scence. Now, we have folks in Pro Stock that think twice when there is a Honda civic running 6.5 seconds at 211 mph. The s2000 is a recent exploration. You have folks like Chris Barnes and Evolution who set the pace and have some more things coming soon. Take a look at all the turbo s2000s in magazines and coming out next year. Not only will they have the power, but they will have the capabilities to put in on the ground.

Stay tuned!

The biggest winner will be who can put the power down to the ground! I can get a bigger turbo but drive train is keeping me from doing so..

I don't understand what the point of it is either. The car is undrivable, and the motor will probably break in a few thousand miles....is there any point except to be king of the ricerz at nopi?

track is closing up soon, so we will have to wait until the spring to test. There is no point in swaping out to a larger turbo unless we overcome this. The new GT40R does look tempting though...

i thought the car was awesome. why are you guys hating on it?

btw, the 615hp wasn't at 22psi, it was more boost than that. they put around 500 to the wheels with 22psi on pumpgas. i'm impressed that the motor could hold up to that kind of abuse, even though there's probably not many honda parts left in that block. i wonder how much he spent on the engine alone. i imagine sleeving a block is pretty expensive.
