I had a leak there too, but it was from the spring clip. I replaced the hose (bought from Oreily) and put a worm clamp on there. It still drips every now and then

For $3, I'm much rather get a quality molded Honda replacement hose instead of some generic straight hose and have to try to wrangle it in there.

Agree 100%

A factory hose from Honda will be tight and fit properly.

Majestic Honda that provided the exploded view (through Maniac) is a long time trusted dealer here. Order with confidence. And as others have said OEM can't go wrong .

with the proper hose the Honda spring clamps are very reliable, I also think they are much easier to use then worm gear clamps and more friendly to the hose as well.

If you order from estore.honda.com, you can pay list without having to haggle with a parts guy.

Who said anything about local dealers????

Either way the more impotent issue to your repair is the post repair bleed of the system to remove trapped air. If you have an AP1 I can provide detailed info. If it's an AP2 you will have to search.....

P.S. As the coolant system will be "open" plan on doing a Coolant change
