D2s is a bulb size, 3000k-15000k is the temperature rating of the bulb, its the color that we see. The lower on the temeperature rating usually the better visibility. 3000k gives off a yellow light that has always been used for driving lights, especially for fog lights. Similiar to what Lexus used on the IS 300 fogs.

ummm def not true. At night time all you see is pink. AND LOTS OF IT. you can see very far down the road, but obviously not as clear and crisp as 6000k.

A friend has HID fogs on his E55. They look awesome, but like someone said, make SURE they are aimed for the ground.

hid fogs are nice but i think hid reverse lamps would be usefull!
