HELP when starting it rev's up to 5k
I just went out to my car and started it up. Right away it rev's right up to ~5,000 rpms. I shut it off as soon as it happened. I thought seems like a glow plug so I took them all out and replaced them. The ones I took out were very very dark, lots of carbon deposits on them. The new plugs did nothing different and it still revs up right away instantly as soon as it catches.
I logged everything with my AEM EMS that I could and nothing seems out of place except the revving without any throttle. DId a sensor go out that thinks it's supposed to rev way up right away???
I have an AEM EMS. Injen intake, Toda Header, AEM UEGO, Spugen single exhaust, and test pipe.
PLEASE HELP ME.

I just found a buzzing. It was coming from the IAC I think. The sensor on the ouside part of the intake manifold. could this be the cause?

You did a diesel conversion? I bet that has some nice torque...
The car revving up that high on the occasional cold start is not an abnormal thing. I would have left it on to see where it went from there.

No I meant it seemed like a glow plug. Like in pwc's where the plug stays on permenantly and revs itself up, except there it keeps going and going. I just tried again and it stops around 5.5k

Check the throttle cable to ensure that it isn't too tight. It needs just a little bit of slack in it, otherwise it can keep the throttle open just slightly.
Also check the accelerator pedal to see if it's sticking.
Other than that, you could try pulling the fuse to reset the ECU, and then doing a new idle learn procedure (basically you kill power to the ecu for 10+ minutes, reconnect it, start the car and let it idle for 5-10 minutes, with all accessories off, and without touching the throttle.
