as stated before oild doesnt warm up as fast as coolant. even though you coolant may be warm you may still not be getting optimum oiling. i dont get on my car till after its been fully warmed for up to about 5 or 10 minutes. probably would be fine, but i dont want to mess anything up

I never vtec til 3 bars on coolant temp. I've never felt the cutoff yet, and I really do drive my car aggressively (but only after 3 bars on coolant).
