Help w/ Rear Brake Squeak
Before I post my problem I want to say I have searched extensively and tried many of the solutions to similar problems with no luck.
I changed my rear brake pads a couple weeks ago and have noticed a squeaking noise under full brake pressure. The sound follows the rotation of the wheel and upon full stop the sounds becomes a more metallic scrape than squeak. Brake performance has not been effected by the sound, it is just purely annoying and I am worried it may be a symptom of a worse problem.
I have tried:
cleaning rotors/pads
Brake Quieter stuff
Tightening the hub locking nut (the 36mm bolt) to 220ft/lbs
Brake Fluid Change (just a hopeful long shot)
The sound is only coming from my drivers side rear. My car did have some minor suspension damage on that side/wheel but the sound was not present after repairs were complete, they only showed up a month or so afterwards when I changed the pads.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Are these OEM pads? Many aftermarket pads do make noises.
Check and see if you bent the heat shield. Sounds like it may be touching the rotor. If it only happens under braking, then it could be so close to touching that the deflection of the suspension and rotor under braking load makes it touch.
Alternately, it could be the spring clips that hold the pads in place. One might be bent or misinstalled, and it touches the rotor under braking.
Basically, something is touching that shouldn't be touching, and you need to find out what it is. This involves you looking at your car -- we can't diagnose it from this side of the ethernet cable.

Yes they are oem pads. I guess I just need to keep tearing the caliper apart and try to find whats coming into contact with the rotor.
Appreciate the input.
