In other words...from where do we take our measurement?
In other cars, valve clearance may be measured in different locations.

So in other words, it's measured right under the adjuster screw. It's kinda like sticking the feeler on top of the retainer.
Anyway got the car back, valve noise is a lot better, unfortunatly the honda guys were talking a bunch of smack. They said the valves where all to loose, when i know for sure, if anything they where to tight.
And they didn't notice my engine mount was OUT THE DOOOOOR. So when you work on the engine i expect you to at least take a minute and look around but oh well.

Mmmhh, then i don't know what happend. I'm positive that if anything i adjusted them to tight. going by 0.06" and 0.08". And the ticking was louder. Unless they loosend up by themselfs. Either way, it's done and it was a good experience.
Unfortunatly i still have the "other" tapping noise which i was hoping to cure with the adjustment.
Anybody have a sound clip or a "good" forum description of what the Chain TEnsioner going bad- sound sounds like?

S2000 Europe - I would not set the exhaust and intake valves to the same specification. That means that the intake valves are on the loose end of spec and the exhaust valves are on the tight end of spec. This will result in a slight decrease in power. If it were my car, I'd go back in and set the intakes to minimum spec too (0.21 mm = 0.008")
the first time that friend did the valve adjustment honda tighted them to the maximum allowed by the manual, thinking that valve will get loose XXXX km after, well after 50.000 valves are as tight as the first day.
