Default HELP! Swapping aftermarket exhaust for stock...

Hey guys,

So I have managed to take off the Invidia N1 exhaust that was on my car when I bought it... I have a stock exhaust ready to go on, but I am just now realizing that the stock exhaust has spots for 5 rubber hangers, while the N1 only has 3. I need my car to take to work if I can, but I can do without it if I need to. My question is: is it vital that I have all 5 hangers in place to drive my car without the exhaust falling off, or will it be fine to run 3 until I can order the other 2 for the stock exhaust?

Thanks in advance for any advice here...

if you have the two back ones and one where the cat is you should be fine,

you can do with out the middle hanger and it wont hurt anything.

but i think that you should have all five hangers still on the car if you really look for it,
when putting my n1 on i just wd40'ed the hangers and pulled them off leaving it on the car,
pulling the whole hanger off is a pain in the ass and 5 times the work.

but with 3 hangers on the stock exhuast should be fine but i wouldnt leave it like that for a while.
the stock exhaust is painfully heavy

Thanks! I went ahead and put the stock exhaust on with the three hangers I had, and it seems to be very sturdy. I will still order the two other hangers, but I'm not worried about it at all after feeling how solid it is as it stands.

Incredible how much quieter the stock exhaust is than the Invidia, even with the active silencers in.

yeah the stock exhaust is very quite. You should be fine with just the 3 hangers. It is just the exhaust, it isn't a big deal if it isn't set up correctly.
