I checked my oem hardtop latches today to make sure they were tight and the passenger side has a screw that is stripped out. It turns and turns but won't get tight.
Is helicoil my best option or should i have the body shop fix it when i drop the car off for the front bumper and trunk to be repainted? What will they do to fix it? The screw thats in it now is nice and tight and the latch doesn't move at all but i still want to get this fixed asap
what did everyone do that had this problem?
