Help! Stripped the bolts!

Thumbs down Help! Stripped the bolts!

I really need help installing my tp...i got the cat free of the exhaust but cannot get it free from the header! What side to i attempt to unscrew, i think i went for the wrong one and stripped the bolts...does anyone have a DIY for cat removal or tp installation??

It sometimes feels stripped and it takes many turns to remove those nuts. Why do you think you stripped them?

can you get some mapgas from your local home depot/lowes? try using it and getting the bolts/nust really hot and using a good locking plier.

can you get some pics of the damaged bolts?

I had to cut mine, or try to heat up the area with a torch and use vise grips, good luck!

if you stripped the head than get some nut extracting sockets made for stripped bolt heads and some map gas. heat the ish out of the bolts and break them loose with the extractors

thanks for the help guys..i ended up being able to get them off after i heated them up, then i ordered new ones w the springs from honda, for a grand total of $48 which is obviously

i cant beleive you had that much trouble with an 07, when i did mine my car was 5 years old already and they came off real easy
