HELP removing tranny

Default HELP removing tranny

i Got a 00 s2k and im doin a motor swap...and the tranny WONT come off for some reason...i took all the bolts around the trans and it wont pull off all the way off...ne ideas?????????

You're sure you got the bolt up top that also connects to the starter?

Then you probably got the wrong one

Been there, done that. When all the bolts are out, the tranny slide out like butter.

The clutch fork slides into a slot in the bearing carrier and holds the gearbox in place. Unbolt the slave cylinder from the gearbox and pull the clutch fork outwards an inch. Make sure you are holding the gearbox as it will drop off.

Dont forget to put the fork roughly in place before reinstalling the box.
