Default Help removing roll hoops

I am replacing my soft top with a complete 02 top and frame off a totalled s2k. I'm having trouble getting access to a screw.

These screws sit under the plastic covers for the roll hoops so I can remove them without removing the roll hoops. I'm having trouble doing this though.

I found this thread but it didn't talk that much about removing the hoops. https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.ph...pic=263760&hl=

Also can I disable power to the safety systems (Airbags and seat belts) by removing some fuses instead of disconnecting the battery?

To get the roll bar trim off, you have to remove the center console, side trim and rear panel.

It is advised to disconnect the negative terminal of the battery and waiting at least 3 minutes before working on the airbag system. This is the safest. There may be several fuses and relays that provide juice to this system.

So did you get it done? I had to remove one of mine because it had split recently. You have to pull out a whole lot of interior to get to it.
