Default HELP!!! Problems installin ARC AirIntake

Finally I get the car to the garage, to install the ARC air intake, spoon body throtel, ZEAL B2 suspensions,

After few hours, I was surprised by a call from the workshop that ARC can not fit!.........

I though it was just drop in, and bolt.... as i find out that the Intake is blocked by the A/C pressure gas pipe....

So, was it designed for street, or track..... Because I believe that track cars they do not use A/C..............

What's the solution?

I might make another custom pipe for the A/C over the weekend, but I do not want to rush, your help is highly appreciated..
Thanks

Omran

Try returning the ARC intake....stick with the AEM, INJEN, or if you're willing the Mugen intakes. Better yet, maybe a turbo or supercharger....YUM.

Can't you just notch the intake to allow the pipe to pass, then just seal the intake back up around the A/C hose?

Do you have any pictures of the entire intake?

someone had one installed, but I believe that some minor rerouting of the lines were performed.

this was built and designed for a RHD, but you knew that already. its a pretty design, but just doesn't work that well for LHD cars.

Sorry to see that you bought that intake Dubai. I mentioned this a hundred times on this board that the AC lines which are hard lines need to be rerouted and not worth the trouble for an intake that is designed poorly. There is a reason why most manufacturers use conical shaped filters instead of what you see in the ARC. Good Luck!
