Has anyone else had this happpen? And is there some way I can adjust the clutch? Otherwise I guess my baby is off to the dealer.
I notice this at slow, parkinglot speeds. If I am comming to a stop, or almost stop, in 1st or reverse, I press the clutch in, all the way, but the cars idle will stumble like you are comming to a stop when the car is in gear and the clutch out, like you are about to stall. After the stumble the cars revs recover and everything is OK. It will not do it again for awhile. It doesn't seem to have to do with heat either, I've had it happen after some very spirited driving, and after a short mellow trip to the grocery store. Is is it possible that the clutch fails to entirely dissengage when the pedal is depressed all the way? Can this be easily adjusted?
