Many thanks UL.

Davepk, SS and I have all gotten together for a emergency tech session. We had already guessed that it was ignition and my plugs are already out.

All plugs look perfect. BUT! the #2 Cyl's plug took NO torque to crack loose, I believe it was the problem.

going to put it back together now and find out.

Hey there. Was directed to your post from the Honda-Tech ITR forums.

I used 4 gallons of the 100 octane mixed in with a gallon or so of 91 octane on Saturday, and didn't notice any problems. But then, we also have different cars.....

Hope that helps. If you need any more info, use my email address on this profile.

Talking about exhaust leaks (HKS specific), check the weld at the front of the expansion chamber weird thing, mine had a leak there.

Did the fuel you guys use have a high alcohol content?

The problem Was my #2 spark plug. It was very loose.

Everything is put back together and it's purrin' like a champ!

Anyway's thank you all for your help.

As for the exhaust, we just are assuming 2 days and a couple hundred track miles burned it clean. *shrug*

Still no idea on Davepk's O2 sensor tho. He goes to the dealer tommorow.

Yes, all were removed, checked to make sure they were clean/not fouled, and then retorqued to 13ft/lbs.

I have never removed or checked by plugs before. I have a MY00 #159.
