Default Help!!! Loose parts found in oil pan!

Need help identifying some random stuff found in my oil pan! Owned the S2K for about 3 weeks now. High mileage 2001 AP1. Did an oil change this morning and found these. Went to Honda dealer and took the parts with. No one could identify including their master tech. Please tell me I'm not about to have to get a new engine?!

Parts of the TCT. Looks like you'll need another. Hit up @Billman250 , you'll never need another one again.

Yep, timing chain tensioner relief valve parts. Also, see this thread: Parts in oil pan thread . May be from your current TCT or may be from a previous TCT. Billman250 can advise you.

OEM TCT relief valve.

In every case I’ve seen, no one suffered any engine damage, or even knew it fell out.

Thanks guys!! I searched the threads and couldn't find the right combo of words to come up with anything. You guys think maybe I should drop the oil pan and see if there's more in there? God I was hoping to avoid expensive repairs right out of the gate!

4 parts make up that valve

-threaded cap (shown)
-hollow body (shown)
-spring
-ball bearing

You have 2 parts to locate.

Take a look at his signature/avatar stuff. It is all right there. You send him the "core" for the lowest price. His bolts are longer than OEM so you and him know it is installed correctly. It is a 5 minute job but if you want to have a beer too, make it 10.
