Help to identify mystery cable
Hello all,
My first post here, but I've been lurking for a while hoovering up as much info as possible, since buying my Honda in June this year. Just did the 100k service and I came across a cable loose in the engine bay. Neither the plastic part or terminals were attached and it looked as if a mechanic had tucked it away to be fitted later and forgot about it.... I have scoured the engine for a suitable connector but no ideas. The AC does not appear to be working and I wonder if this part of the problem! I have posted images of the cables here: https://www.icloud.com/photostream/#A25oqs3qmRxrE
It looks quite heavy duty, the fuse is 10a.
Beer token to the first person to ID it for me!

looks like an aftermarket add-on, can't imagine it being related to the A/C unless someone did a hack-job on your wiring system. Maybe the car had an aftermarket alarm system in the past ? , 10 amp isn't that big of a circuit, pretty common .
