The ENTIRE car is setup for the DBW. The electronics, VSA system, braking system, fuel system, evap aystem, all wiring harnesses, steering column components, the list is massive.

To convert an 00-05 car to DBW would be a very extensive undertaking.

Just the photo shows this is a pre-2004 body car so the VIN is a forgery/fraud.

Does the tachometer have a 9 at the start of the red area? Or at the end. Just curious. Both the chassis and engine are '02.

Could it be an ap1 block with f22 crank inside?

If you put an ap1 'short block' into a dbw car, and use flashpro, can you swap most of the ap2 dbw stuff onto it, and setup flashpro to a 9k redline?

Then assuming its got a tp or hfc, drop vtec rpm down to like <4k rpm.

So you'd boost the midrange nicely with the lower vtec, right where ap1 needs it, yet you'd still have the 9k redline.

Best of both worlds?

Yeah I am thinking this might be a fraud car. But I'll talk with some people to get advice on what to do regarding any legal stuff but I believe I'm screwed.

The firewall Vin matches the vin on the block and bonnet. The auction used the VIN off the windshield which is the only one different. The tacho goes to 9k.

The queatque still remains, can this full f20c go into my 06 ap2 and work with the 06 dbw system?

I was thinking the other way around. I want to put this AP1 motor into my 06, is that possible?

Misrepresentation is what I would discuss with the auction company, the listing says 2.2L but it is obviously not. Good luck on this crappy situation.
