Air in the cooling system. Once you verify this is an s2000 and this gets moved to Under the hood. You will get a link on how to burp the system.

Make sure you retorque the bolts on the intake manifold as the gasket will get crushed over time and will eventually start to leak. To me, the negatives outweigh the gains for this mod.

Stop driving it around or you'll cook the engine.

Get the air out first.

Make sure you can get finger burning heat out of the vents. If not, you risk cooking your motor.

Billman recently posted in another thread that with air in the cooling you can be fine for a long time then one day the air will find its way to the wrong place and you overheat. He stated with the S one overheat can cook your motor. Warp head, damage block, or blow head gasket.

He said if you aren't getting finger burning heat from your vents, you still have air. Take care of this before it burns you.
