Yes....those look really nasty.

Make sure you are running the proper heat range.I run either the NGK BKR6E or BKR7E on my 03 w/84k miles.

They do, I change my NGK BKR8EIX's every 6 months or so. At around $31.40 for 4 it's not a big deal.
Every six months? Waaaaaaay overkill.
oh I know, but since I blew my motor from having one break and scour my engine wall. I been cautious. I know I don't need to but that experience always sits in the back of my mind. $32 every 6 months is nothing compared to my ease of mind

color scale:

black = too much fuel, rich
dark brown = less rich
light brown = good afrs
white = too little fuel, lean

not a huge scale but it gives you a sense of what's going on.

yup the threading, and then one or more of your spark plugs will back out around 8k or 9k rpm and boom there goes the whole engine! no more vtec for you!

If so, Honda will be your best bet.

think the helms lists changing the plugs at 7 yrs. or 100K miles? change them and you should be good to go for a long time. if you change them more frequently you run a higher risk of one backing out because of the above mentioned reason and due to a higher chance of human error...
