Help with EPS!
My car was in a small accident and the power steering won't work.
What is it that I need to check first myself before taking to mechanic or something?
All components are there, Are there any common failures with this system?
Advise greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You might try pulling fuse 33 for a minute, a 70 amp fuse in the under-hood fuse box. I've not done this but it's the main feed to the power steering control and might reset it. There doesn't appear to be any other 'constant" power to the unit.
Have you driven the car? In the past I've pissed off my EPS unit by removing the tach wire with the car running and the EPS light came on and there was no power steering. But it reset as soon as I drove the car at low speed (like 10mph).
