I bought the brake pads because they were described as a cross between street and track use. Also, the car is mostly a weekend warrior for spirited driving, so I wanted a Harding biting pad.

I thinking of just biting the bullet and ordering a new pair for the front. Centrics are highly recommended. However, what's the difference between these from Amazon and Science of Speed? Amazon has them for cheaper, so I'm curious why.

Can you mic the width of the disc?

Be sure to use two dimes or two pennies or whatever as spacers. They should be uniform in width.

I ended up ordering the Centrics from Amazon since I couldn't tell there was a difference from the ones Science of Speed were offering. Should come in by this Friday, so I'll throw them on and report back on Saturday to see if that resolved the issue.

Similar to bedding in pads? Take up to 50-60mph, brake moderately hard without kicking in ABS, and repeat 8 or 10 times? I've only bedding in these pads before following advice on the forums here.
