Default HELP! coolant leak

Ok so today I noticed the smell of coolant and I didnt realy think anything of it and I was driving around and then I kept smelling it every time I got in my car so I looked and there was coolant sprayed everywhere in my engine bay. I filled the reservoir up with water any by the time I got home (about 7 miles) almost all of the water was gone. What could be causing this?

clean up all of the sprayed coolant, fill the reservoir up with water, let the car idle and maybe you can see where it leaks out. Check the radiator, radiator cap, hoses etc...

Ok so I had it pressure tested and the radiator is bad so I ordered a new one and it is coming in. How hard is it to install the new radiator? Does anyone have a write up on it?

hmm if it is the same as any other honda.. that has a manual trans.. take the two hoses off.. remove the electrical wires hooked up to the fan.. remove the two upper mounts the hold the radiator in place.. and pull up.. and it should just come right out

nothing is really holding it down other than the two upper mounts on each side of the radiator .. i could be wrong.. since i havent messed with any s2k yet

eh.. start car with system filled with coolant / 50/50 mix.. open radiator cap.. let car warm up and once the T stat opens.. fluid levels drop.. add more and youll be fine.. but if you have too open up the air bleeders

Welcome aboard. Radiator replacement is a piece of cake:
Drain radiator using drain plug in center bottom edge of radiator (engine side)
1) Disconnect fan motor connectors going to the fans
2)Disconnect fan switch on lower left (engine side)
2) Remove the radiator upper brackets located on either side of the top of the radiator-remove radiator (when you replace torque two bolts to 8.7 lbf.ft torque).
3) remove fan shroud and other parts and put on new radiator
4) replace radiator making sure the lower radiator cushions are "on the stubs".
5) Replace fluid and check for static leaks.
6) Bleed system-hard to describe here but do a search on the board and I'm sure you'll find the location of the two bleed items (bolt and cap). Cap is on pipe which traverses the firewall behind the engine. The bolt is on the right side of the head just below the joint line of the valve cover and head. Jst behind a hose at the front edge of the block (do a search here).

Additional:
Replace the o-ring on the fan switch. Part is available at www. majestichonda.com or other sponsers here.

Fan bolt torque is 5 lbf.ft
Fan switch torque is 17 lbf.ft.
