Help! Check Engine (Malfunction) Light came on my car.

Thanks everyone for replying.
I got my car fixed. I just took the car for 5 hr drive and no problem. Dealer told me that Engine coil #2 was loose. I wonder if they created problem when they were replacing the sparkplugs. Anyway, It's running fine.
By the way, if anyone know any good mechinic around Boston area for S2000, let me know.

Glad you're back on the road, Gene!!! Keep us posted if you run into more trouble.
XV, whaddya' think??? How could you put the securing bolt into the coil without it being in place??? Seems to me there's not enough flex in the top part of the coil to have created the condition claimed by the dealer.... Interesting though.

Oh, I get ya'... You're talking about the electrical connector, not the plug coil itself. Yup, that makes sense.
Good one, XV. Certainly a possibility. It could also explain the MIL coming on since the ECU could detect the inability to talk to the coil pack.
