Sounds like you need a new starter relay. They aren't cheap for this car either. Majestic lists them for $150 US. From my experience, most all starter relays are rebuildable by someone who specializes in automotive electronics (starters, alternators, etc). I had the OEM relay in my 240SX rebuilt locally for $30 CDN. If you don't want to fork out $150 for a new part, that's another option.

Did you check all the fuses under the dash and in the engine bay...
I had a fault in my wiring harness and it caused my car not to start... I found that the relay fuse in the engine bay was blown.....
It is the fuse panel on the passenger side of the car...
I would suggest you check all fuses before you satrt replacing things,.....

Sounds like your starter solenoid has gone bad. However, it could simply be a corrosion issue. Check to see if the battery connections are intact and clean, then check the wire from the battery to the starter/solenoid. Check all connections for corrosion or simply being loose.

A quick fix would be tapping the starter/solenoid with a hammer to loosen it up. Make sure you dont cause a short doing so.

You say your hear a click, can you hear the engine turning over? Before you go buy anything, check your spark plugs. I had a bad set a few months ago. Worked for 2 weeks and then I experienced the same problem you seem to be having. I was a little peeved (yet relieved) when I checked everything "else" before even considering the plugs. But it only clicked once and then I could hear the engine trying to turn over real slowly.
