got pics of the coil packs? Is there separation from the 2 joined plastic pieces (ribbed w/ rubber end to main body). If so that might be your problem. It happened to mine and the coil pack had some brown residue on it also.

Yeah, that is what a bad connector on the MAP does. Disconnect, clean, reconnect and zip tie tight.

thanks guys! I am going to take the coil packs out and also clean that MAP sensor.... I have it zip tied but i did not clean it ever....

I am hoping to save myself a full day trip to the tuner guy..... so I really appreciate the idea's!!!

You can disable the "tuned" maps by assigning them to a dip switch and then turning the dip switches off. This will revert back to the stock maps. Consult the manual or your tuner if you're not sure how to use this feature.
