Man, I thought the '2k's were too new for problems like this.

What did you torch off, the arm or the head of 13?
The ones that have lived in the rust belt aren't. It only takes 1 winter to get the corrosion started, after that it's a loosing battle.

Southern cars

I don't need a torch to take one apart

okay, so far I have vise grips, air chisel/hammer, and liquid wrench. You're saying I need an impact driver too? Is that the same thing as a gun?

hmmm i thought just the air hammer could expand the collar by the above post.

I'm spraying LW but most of it is dripping down the rubber bushing.

I can go get a torch too but really I've spend almost 200 in tools already just to get this thing off and don't want to buy too many more

won't the impact gun rip the vise grips out of my hand? hold the vise grip w/ one hand and the impact w/ the other? hmmm... i'll have to try it 2mr... getting a lil late. I thought the hammer was enough to expand the collar?

u only got the lower part of the rubber off right? doesn't seem possible to get all of it w/ the control arm in the way. I've been hitting two sides of it w/ an air hammer. I also tried sticking a round bit into the collar to shake it loose.
