Help with bad night

alright guys interesting news..so i took the car to a mechanic and me and him dropped the transmission and checked it and found the reason my car wasnt working is i have a broken shift fork. the bracket that holds it broke clean and the shift fork itself is cut about 1/4" from rubbing on the clutch assembly. luckily there is no damage to it, just a little scuffed up and sanding it will clear it up. i do however need a whole new shift fork assembly, which i will pick up tomorrow and reinstall it all.
my next thing i need help with how exactly do i adjust the clutch pedal so that the shift fork isnt rubbing on the clutch assembly. i believe it is the adjustment behind the pedal in which it pushes the piston into the master cylinder and i clearly need to turn it out so it isnt pushing as much, but how do you know when enough is enough? when do you stop adjusting it out? im still curious why my clutch started having that pop like feeling with being harder to push in, my only thought is thats when the shift fork was rubbing the clutch..thanks for everyones help!

well i dont think its because of the stage 4 clutch many many people are running them without having those pieces fail. i went with that since i am forced induction. i have Inline Pros kit and pushing 350 rwhp at 12 psi and 440 rwhp at 18 psi. bad news is the damn piece is broken often enough that no honda dealer in the country has a set to fix it, however great news is Inline Pro and Ya in particular are the BEST people for customer service because i called them to see if they had a set laying around and they did and they are going to overnight me the part...you cant get better service than that!
