Default HELP! Alternator only reading 6v

Hi, i changed my clutch yesterday and to my knowledge, i connected every cable back. I only disconnected the plugs near the tranny, and the crank shaft sensor when it comes to the electrical part. the clutch turned out great! PITA NEVER AGAIN WILL I DO IT BUT ITS GREAT. the problem is that the alternator is not charging. the dash lights are out, so is the radio. I was able to get a voltage meter and only read 6v out of the output cable on the alternator. The only thing i left disconnected was the bracket that holds on the line of plugs that goes to the tranny which is suppose to hold on to a tranny bolt. to my knowledge, all the grounds look good. I need to car running monday. PLEASE HELP, ANY IMPUT IS ASKED ! THANKS AND GODBLESS.

Check your fuses. There's two fuse, one under the dashboard and one under the hood. It's a 15A, labled ALT I believe. I had the same problems. There should even be some spare fuses so there's no need to buy new ones.

I'm surprised you didn't blow the ecu or anything by doing that.
