There are 2 adjusters on the back of each headlight. I highly reccomend you follow the adjustment procedure in the Helm service manual. Misadjusted HID's will blind oncoming traffic.
The correct light pattern will have the driver's side light lower than the right.
You didn't need to remove the entire light to replace the bulbs. removing thefront fender liner clips on each side gives you enough room to replace the bulbs.

Seems there's a big misconception about the s2k HID's. One headlight is not lower on the drivers side, they are both the same. Each headlight has a built-in low-left/high-right diffuser. Take a look at my quickie pic. The red line is light cast from the left light, and the blue line is from the right.
I have misadjusted the headlights on the wall so you can see how it works.
To make the head lights perfect, you must raise one or lower the other, so the patterns are right on top of each other. Note the pic marked "correct". That's how you get that nice white defined line as you pass buildings and stuff.
Once you pull up to a nice wall, walk in front of each headlight and block them one at a time. You will be able to distinguish each pattern from each light, and decide which one to raise, or which one to lower.
NOW....once they are level, them you can bring both down or up equally to adjust for oncomming traffic.
