Help! 7 degree vs 6 degree keepers

Default Help! 7 degree vs 6 degree keepers
I have an engine built by inlinepro. Its got aftermarket valvetrain. I lost a keeper changing valve stem seals, and i had some 14781-PCX-004 - ap2 keepers laying around, new. Is this a 7 degree that will work with aftermarket or do i need to but the keepers for ap1? The guy at inlinepro said i need 7 degree keepers but he was basically yelling at me and i don't understand. Thanks!

Just buy the same keepers as inlinepro used on your build. Not worth it cutting corners.

Using the wrong keepers will result in a dropped valve in no time flat.

Ask them if they are ap1 or ap2 keepers.
