Default HELP! 2nd & 3rd "hard" to Engage

Hi all, it has been awhile since I had a problem with my little baby and I didn't have anywhere else to turn but to the people who KNOW..

I have been battling with my Honda Dealer for about 2 months now on this issue, and I keep getting the same story from them "we can't feel it, so nothing is wrong with the car" BS

Here is my problem.

I have a similar problem. Shifting from first to second is hard when the revs are high and shifting into third sometimes kicks my hand when it slides in (can't put it better). When the engine and gear get warmer the 2nd to 3rd is harder to notice but the 1st to 2nd is always there. The car I test drove had the best gear shift I ever drove and it's really frustrating to own one that doesn't!

I decided to live with it. I don't trust the dealer. They'll probably end up with a bunch of screwes and washers that they can't remember how to fit back and decide you don't really need them...
Either replace the box ($$) or forget about it.

I know what you mean about the trust thing... They just look at me like I am crazy and I keep telling them, I have been driving this car for 4 years and this is the first time I can't smoothly shift into 2nd...There has to be something WRONG!!!

I bought mine used with just 22,000 Km. I love it but I'm guessing it was abused. I think they prefer to pretend that it's fine. Otherwise they'll have to face you and say they don't know how to fix it. Today's mechanics are just button pushers. They have no passion for their profession. They just plug in their gear and run some diagnostics. They can't do more than that.

I agree, but don't want to think that way just yet.

I'm sorry to even mention this again, but have you changed your clutch fluid?

Yes they changed all the fluids, I don't know about the Clutch though, I will check..

As an Update... My Honda dealer called me, and told me that American Honda Liaison is coming in to see my car on the 18th.. I hope this works or he might tell me to shove it...

Please give me any insight on these guys and if I should be worried or what should I say to him.
