Help~ My S2000 AP2 shuts off by itself
Hi all S2000 owners,
I have a 2004 s2000 with 100k km
Sometimes, when stop at the traffic light(when not giving gas) the car shuts off by itself,
but i can restart the car without any problem. When i restart the car, the car's rpm keeps going lower than 500rpm, so I'll have to press on gas to keep the engien going.
I always solve the problem by steping hard on gas. After i run for 30 sec, the car will be come stayalbe. Can anyone help me with this problem? Is it that about my spark plugs?
PS:sometimes when i warm up the car in the morning, it will also have this problem.

try map whack. Perform a search and the DIY should be there. GL
OP- steps to resolve this on an AP2
1. Reset ECU
2. Re-learn ECU idle
3. Stop coasting to stop lights in N
Problem, will be resolved.

I believe this is required only on AP1s - I could be corrected.
